About the Author

Motaz Bukhari has a electrical engineering degree and a minor in mathematics from Colorado State University.

He started his career as an engineer with Saudi Aramco and transitioned to Gulf Re (now Arch Capital Group) as an underwriter trainee, becoming a property and energy underwriter five years later.

This was followed by a move into reinsurance broking with Willis Re, focusing on treaty placement.

Now CEO of Howden KSA, he is part of a team that has introduced three cyber insurance products in the Middle East.

Bukhari purchased his first Bitcoin in early 2019 and subsequently transitioned into the Cardano network.

He recently acquired a 50% share in Growing Pains, a Cardano NFT collection.
